Ron Artest: Lakers Savior
He may not be a sandwich artist, but he is a Ron Artest. Artest went from drinking Hennessey during halftime a couple of seasons ago with the Pacers, to now being one of the strongest players on the LA Lakers roster. Ron Artest was the sole reason that the Lakers won both games 5 and 6 over the Phoenix Suns. Although deep down the Lakers will eventually live or die on the shoulders of Kobe Bryant, they currently have Artest to thank for getting them to the NBA Championship Finals.

Now that the teams are set, all we need to know who to bet on to win the NBA championship between the LA Lakers and Boston Celtics. Since the Boston Celtics are currently going through a tirade of injuries, the LA Lakers are favored to win this series. Game 1 will be held Thursday, June 3rd and the Lakers are currently favored by -5 points at most online sportsbooks. If you are looking to get in on some online betting action, I would bet on the Lakers to cover the -5 point spread this Thursday.
