Phillies Claim NL East for Fourth Straight Year


With Roy Halladay on the mound, the Philadelphia Phillies claimed the National League East Title for the fourth straight year in a row in a win over the Washington Nationals. This win was especially special for Halladay as it was his 21st with the Phillies, and marks the first time he will be going into the MLB playoffs.

The Phillies were at 1/1 betting odds to win the NL East at the start of this season.

Now that the Philadelphia Phillies have clinched a playoff spot, they are mentally preparing themselves for the MLB World Series in which they are currently sitting at 11/4 betting odds to win.
