2010 World Cup Champions

To no surprise, the 2010 World Cup has been won by Spain today, 1-0 in extra time. However what was surprising was the great game played by the Netherlands who had more than their fair share of scoring chances. If anybody bet on Netherlands on the point spread is probably rolling in a pile of money, however if you missed out betting on this game, here is a look at upcoming online sports betting events.

Online Sports Betting

Although I myself am not a big soccer fan, betting online for these games made me a lot more interested in the results than your average fan. Now that the World Cup is over, I feel like a pianist without a piano.

With that said, here are some upcoming online sports betting events that you can get your kicks from:

Baseball All-Star Game
UFC 118
College Football Betting
NFL Football Betting

Lebron James – Destination Unknown

It’s almost as if Lebron James of the soon to be ‘former’ Cleveland Cavaliers has boarded a flight operated by Northwest Airlines with the same two pilots who fell asleep at the controls, because nobody has any idea where James is going to land next NBA betting season.

Any online betting player who can sit there and tell you they know with certainty where Lebron James will be playing basketball next year is talking out of their arse. I wouldn’t be surprised if even Lebron James didn’t know where he wanted to sign next year.

Betting Online Predictions

Only Dion Warwick’s psychic hotline can truly predict the exact team Lebron James will play for next NBA season, however I feel that I can narrow it down to at least 2 NBA teams.

Chicago Bulls – Online betting insiders are predicting that James will sign with the Chicago Bulls who currently have a great supporting cast, but no identity. Rumors have also been speculated that Phil Jackson will also join James in Chicago as their head coach.

Miami Heat – Many online sportsbooks are betting that Lebron and Chris Bosh will both sign with the Miami Heat and join Dwayne Wade next year at hopes of bringing home a NBA Finals championship.

NBA Free Agent Frenzy

Although the Los Angeles won the NBA Championship last week, buzz surrounding the NBA has not died down as of yet because of the free agent frenzy going on.

Some of the currently biggest names in the NBA; Lebron James, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, Tracy McGrady, and Phil Jackson are all unrestricted free agents and as of July 1st they are all expected to shuffle teams. Many online sportsbooks are speculating that James, Wade and Bosh might find each other playing on the same team so they can give the Lakers a run next season.

Online Betting Previews

Although many online sportsbooks have already posted future betting lines for team odds to win the NBA championship next year, these online betting odds will drastically change in the coming weeks after the NBA’s biggest free agents sign to different teams. Tracy McGrady has just announced that he would like to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers who are just coming off their second NBA championship in as many years. If these rumors are true, the Lakers are sure to be the heavy favorites to win the NBA finals again next year. If you don’t have an online betting account set up yet, check out Sportsbook.com to get one today and take advantage of their 50% deposit bonus for new players.

MLB Online Betting

Are the Detroit Tigers still a professional MLB team? It would appear so after the season that Miguel Cabrera (Seen on the left), Magglio Ordonez and Brennan Boesch are having for the once abysmal baseball team. The Detroit Tigers this MLB online betting season have repeatedly covered the betting point spread when favored by 2-3 runs because online sportsbooks cannot account for the Tigers top 3 batters who are having great seasons and putting MLB fans back in their seats in Detroit.

Point Spread Betting

Often when reading matchups before betting on games, you might notice such stats as SU and ATS stats. Both of these betting terms refer to point spread betting. SU (Straight Up) and ATS (Against the spread) commonly predict score patterns that will help you with your online betting. This MLB season, the Detroit Tigers are winning a lot of their games ATS which means big money for online betting players. If you are looking to cash in your bets, check out the SBG Global online sportsbook and bet ATS on the Tigers this season.

Robinson Cano Comes Through for the Yankees

Between the 2010 World Cup and NBA Finals online betting, a lot of people have forgotten about Major League Baseball, and that is just the way Robinson Cano of the New York Yankees likes it.

If you don’t know who Cano is, get ready to start hearing a lot more of him during the rest of the MLB season. Cano, 2nd baseman of the New York Yankees, is currently sporting a .371 batting average and many are comparing his batting style to that of Derek Jeter. With a team that has such big name superstars as Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez, the media often forgets about Cano, but statisticians cannot.

MLB Online Betting

Tuesday, June 15th the New York Yankees face the Cleveland Indians in Cleveland, Ohio. Point spread betting currently has the Yankees favored by -3 runs at -110, and the Moneyline betting odds on Cano and the Yankees are currently at -150. If you want to make some quick money, take the Yankees on the moneyline and if you don’t have an online sports betting account yet, check out the Bodog online sportsbook and receive an instant 10% signup bonus when you join.

Celtics Take 3-2 Series Lead

If you missed game 5 of the NBA Finals between the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics, you missed one heck of a highlight packed game! *** Spoiler Alert ***, all the Celtics players came out to play tonight, Garnett, Pierce, Allen, Rondo, Davis, and Robinson. I could pretty much name the whole Celtics team, because everyone got in on the action, however unfortunately I cannot say the same for the Lakers.

NBA Finals Game 6 Betting

At this point I don’t think there is any fan, coach or owner angrier that Kobe Bryant after Game 5 and now leading up to Game 6. Kobe Bryant had an impressive 38 points in the Lakers Game 5 loss with no help from his teammates, big surprise there.

After a day off, and a well deserved shellacking from Phil Jackson, expect the Lakers to come out strong in Game 6 of the NBA finals. Online sportsbooks currently have the Lakers favored by -3 points for Game 6. I would take the Lakers on the point spread with the 3 points.

Flyers Finally Win

By the looks of this picture you might think that the Philadelphia Flyers have already won the Stanley Cup and have an erection lasting longer than 6-8 hours. If you thought this then you would be wrong, but the Flyers did manage to win a very important game in their series with the Chicago Blackhawks coming from behind to win 4-3 in overtime. The Blackhawks currently lead the Stanley Cup Finals 2 games to 1 with game 4 being played in Philadelphia.

Online Sports Betting

Although the Flyers have finally managed to win 1 game, they are still fighting an uphill battle against injuries right now which makes their comeback look doubtful. If I were an online betting man, who I proudly am, I would bet on the Flyers to win game 4 in Philadelphia, but lose games 5 and 6 to the Chicago Blackhawks. I apologize for my grim outlook for any Flyers fans reading this, but you have to always remember to bet with your mind, not your heart!
